English term or phrase: typ all plug cordset
I am translating wiring diagrams for PAPI light units (precision approach path indicators). These are fixtures helping pilots to land their aircraft safely along a safe glide path. In the wiring diagram you can see here: http://tinyurl.com/yaftypql at the bottom, there is the phrase ‘’TYP ALL PLUG CORDSETS’’.

I can’t make out what ‘’TYP ALL PLUG’’ cordset’’ means in this context. Obviously, I know what ‘’cordset’’ means, but I can’t grasp the meaning of the whole phrase.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

agree  philgoddard: I would add a translator's note saying this is probably what it means. It could also be "typology", but this is tantamount to the same thing.

agree  Tony M: Yes, makes perfect sense: this is a typical arrangement that holds good for all varieties of cordsets.
