English term or phrase: due diligence in court
I am translating a food safety knowledge test that is to be taken by personnel at a confectionery factory. Here are some of the multiple choice questions:

2. Two main ways of controlling allergens are:
a) Control of suppliers of materials and production controls
b) Process controls and staff movement controls
c) Cleaning controls and training
d) Training and Control of suppliers of materials

3. Finished Product Labelling:
a) Reflects our ability to control allergens
b) Discloses quantity of allergens in our products
c) Forms a part of *due diligence in court*
d) Provides the customer with necessary information about the product

I am familiar with the term due diligence, but I am not clear about due diligence in ''court"
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

perhaps intentional nonsense

Explanation:
This is anyhow one of the wrong answers, and the person who composed the test may have intentionally made it a bit nonsensical to help the students avoid choosing the wrong answer (or make those who do chose it look even more foolish).
