This sentence comes from a patent specification. I'm trying to figure out the meaning of the word clueless in this context. Please help.

If it is made of paper or plastic, one way of fixing them would be with the use of glue. But a different way could be without glue, i.e. "glueless", which some clueless person has mistyped as "clueless".
