agree  Charles Davis: Correct; date of shipment (in the US at least) means date of issuance of bill of lading when shippers receive the goods, before actual dispatch. // I think it's different in UK; DOS is actual date of loading/dispatch; bill of lading is not dated earlier

  -> Thanks, Charles, would the DOS be considered when received in the UK? / Sounds like the difference may be when it arrives to shipper vs. when it departs shipper's premises for delivery, which leads me to wonder about that middle time, lol! Thanks again!
