Explanation:
If something is low slung, it means it hangs loose, eg if a belt is worn lo(w) slung, it is loose on the hips, rather than tight around the waist. So in this case the bass sound is loose and relaxed rather than tight. I agree with Richard Benham - it is a reference to "hip" or cool.

Chicken Lips is the name of a dance band. They appear to have done a remix (re-jig) of a Rudebox song, approaching it in a slow, heavy, bass (drum) manner. The lo-slung aspect is to emphasize that it's dub heavy, not very upbeat, laid-back, from the background, not forthright. Chilled. It's an easy, unobtrusive mix of the original track.
