Music / comments about a music student interpretation
English term or phrase: slips of pitch
The musical flow is sometimes interrupted because of difficulties with the technical challenges (for example, in the "Romance"). Although some notes are not cleanly produced, generally a clean articulation is presented (including harmonics where required), but there are some ***slips of pitch*** and misreading of notes at times.

agree  James Girard: 'pitch' is 'the auditory property of a note that is conditioned by its frequency relative to other notes' (Collins). If a note's pitch is too high or too low, it's sharp or flat - out of tune, as stated.
