roundabouts

English translation: rounds

12:10 Aug 14, 2014
English language (monolingual) [PRO]
Art/Literary - Music
English term or phrase: roundabouts
This is from a pupil's annual report (year 5) (UK):

Music:
Cyclic patterns
Journey into space
Roundabouts
Songwriter

These are the topics they covered in music classes in year 5. I cannot provide more context, this is all there is. I cannot find any meaning of 'roundabouts" even remotely associated with music.

Reference information:
I'm a little surprised that the answerer hasn't explained the expression; here's a good explanation of the term "round", as in music. How it became termed 'roundabout' is a bit of a mystery.
