internal contact Explanation: I should think that this refers to a person within the same organisation whom one is trying to contact via the phone - so an internal correspondent as opposed to an external one (obtained by dialling for an outside line first). It sounds like this is the answerphone message (maybe a standard message for the whole company) for when an internal call is received at a person's desk but they're not there and it goes to voicemail. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 40 mins (2011-06-04 12:04:13 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Oops! Not to worry - thanks for letting me know! |
