(bubble free and) dry application anti-bubble and dry-application method Explanation: Your suggestion is fine, though I think it's more common to see 'dry-apply/install/mount/application screen protector', but here's another suggestion. Most dry-application protectors will let you carefully lift them off the phone and take care of misalignment and dust particles before trying again. Some even come with an electrostatic paper band to help you get rid of annoying dust. http://www.phonearena.com/news/PET-TPU-or-Tempered-Glass--al... -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 1 hr (2014-07-17 23:02:19 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Dry vs Wet Mount There are two methods for installing a screen protector - dry and wet. The method is usually specified on the box. PET, TPU, or Tempered Glass – all you need to know to choose a screen protector The dry method keeps the protector glued to the screen with static electricity. There's no adhesive involved, and the application is very straightforward. In short, you're supposed to enter a dust-free environment (either outside, or in your humid bathroom, preferably naked to prevent dust specs from your clothes), clean your phone thoroughly, align the protector and apply it. After a few tries, you will end up with near-perfect results. You don't have only one shot at this. Most dry-application protectors will let you carefully lift them off the phone and take care of misalignment and dust particles before trying again. PET, TPU, or Tempered Glass – all you need to know to choose a screen protector The wet application method works by spraying liquid on the underside of the screen protector. It's a convoluted and awkward ordeal. You're tasked with the very precise placement of a thin, wet sheet of plastic - quite frustrating, because the liquid adds weight and gets the protector folding and dancing in every direction but the right one. Allegedly, wet protectors are easier to place without forming air bubbles or trapping dust, and are more resistant to peeling. http://www.phonearena.com/news/PET-TPU-or-Tempered-Glass--al... -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 2 hrs (2014-07-17 23:22:42 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- I would use 'dry-application method' but there seem to be a great many ways of putting it and someone else might come up with a better suggestion ;-) |
