Persian (Farsi) term or phrase: گل نسرین
Greetings,

As portrayed here for example:

http://images.google.co.uk/images?q=گل نسرین&rls=com.microso...

Could گل نسرین be a synonym for نرگس, by any chance? Some dictionaries say that گل نسرین is a jonquil, others that it is a wild rose, so I'm somewhat confused.

Do you use گل نسرین in Modern Persian?

All the best, and many thanks,

Simon
