Like a wounded animal/snake Explanation: The source language used an idiomatic expression. So it is better to use such expression in the target. As you might know "A wounded animal" is assumed to be more dangerous. Here the Coach wants to say that defeating Perspolis is more difficult now because they have lost so many points and do not want to lose any more.
