Regarding back-translation let me say that it may not be applicable because of cultural differences, cultural filters and linguistic and sociocultural norms, and not for near-synonyms. So none of these filters or different norms exists between ST and TT in this context and near-synonym is the best option.

when you say 2 things can not co-exist ,doesn't this mean they have much difference to the extent they can not tolerate each other and be together? I didn't get your point for back-translation Anyway I can Back-translation is not an accurate tool for assessment in modern translation industry specially when the context introduced is different.

بنده باز هم بر روی این واژه تاکید دارم. چرا که در تعریف این واژه کاملا روشن است که دو ایده یا نظریه به خاطر تفاوت های اساسی نمی توانند با هم دیگر جمع شوند.
(coexistence)
اما در تعریف واژه فوق اینگونه نیست. از این رو دو چیز می توانند علیرغم تفاوت های اساسی با همدیگر با همدیگر هم زیست شوند. در نهایت معنای اختلاف به عنوان یک رکن اساسی ار آن برداشت نمی شود.
برای مثال به جمله زیر دقت کنید:
تعدد و تنوع ادیان واقعیتی انکارناپذیر است، هرچند که حقیقتی همه آن ها را تأیید و پشتیبانی نکند.در فرض اول ادیان در عین تکثر با یکدیگر همزیستی داشته و ریشه و جوهره همه آنها یکی است.

از طرف دیگر با استفاده از فرایند فوق می توان نقص آن را آشکار کرد. چرا که در این صورت نمی توان این واژه را غیر قابل جمع ترجمه کرد.

I didn't notice the field of question is Religion. However, the structure "something is not addable to something else" is used frequently, sometimes meaning the two things cannot come together or, are not compatible with each other. Consequently, we can say "the former is not addable to the latter", or substitute the entities mentioned with "former" and "latter".

You can translate this phrase in different ways. You may simply say, they are (completely) different things! or differ from each other, or are separated from each other and etc. But based on the subject (ie. religion), I think Mr.Ebrahimi and Mr.Mostafaei have suggested better options.
