lard belt

Explanation:
I clicked the wrong item. No, I don't agree.
I talked to a nephew in Finland, an automotive engineer, in charge of the spare parts department for a major automotive importer. According to him, there is no such thing as "läskiremmi". A totally made-up term. In other words, "lard belt" would be a literal equivalent, and an equally meaningless term.

Notes to answerer
Asker: Perhaps it is related to (natural) rubber, or caoutchouc... Then: natural rubber belt? See e.g. "läskipohja".

neutral  Didier Declercq (X): Have you seen my confidence level? I know the literal meaning. Truckers use a lot of slang between themselves. But, as you said, your nephew will know best. I follow this out of personal interest. To learn from contributors, none before you. Niin kiitos!
