Speed change motor of a lifter
Explanation:
Esimerkiksi sairaalassa käytettävässä potilaiden nostolaitteessa on tällainen. Speed change on sama kuin vaihteisto.

Olen nähnyt lifter-sanaa käytettävän, mutta lift olisi varmasti parempi.

I assume, the terms lift/ hoist/ elevator could be used - without context, these terms could be interpreted differently. I will probably go with "a lift/ an elevator". Thank you, Marju!
