(olioita, eläimiä, ihmisiä?), ja että lauseen subjekti on arvokas heille ja joillekin muille. Asukeilleen-sanahan
on asukki sanan possessiivisuffiksin sisältämä monikon taivutusmuoto: heidän asukeilleen. Asukki taas on
vähän harvinaisempi asukasta tarkoittava sana, mutta sitä käytetään etupäässä mielestäni eläimistä
tai jonkin laitoksen asukkaista/huollettavista, esim. vankilan asukit, poikakodin asukit, päihdehuoltolan
asukit, eläintarhan asukit (ehdottomasti tässä siis eläimiä). Asukki on jotain poikkeuksellista, asukas taas
on itsenäisesti jossain asuva ihminen, mutta ironisesti voi sanoa asukas myös eläimestä.

Oliko alkuperäinen suomenkielinen lause jotain tällaista: "Xxx on arvokas muillekin kuin asukeilleen." ?
