Finnish term or phrase: ep-vakuutus
Mistä "ep" on lyhennys?

From a list of tasks for a building project:
"Työ on vastaanotettu, takuuajan vakuus jätetty, virheet ja puutteet korjattu, pöytäkirjat allekirjoitettu ja ep- ja sotu-vakuutukset annettu ja huoltokirja luovutettu"

It's an affirmation, not an insurance.

For your information, the term ep-vakuutus does not exist in Finnish at all, it's a colloquial way of putting it. Instead the companies usually state in contracts: "Vakuutetaan että yritys on ennakkoperintärekisterissä".

ennakonpidätys

Explanation:
ennakonpidätys, tax withholding, not insurance. The sentence should read something like "...pöytäkirjat allekirjoitettu ja ep- ja sotumaksut
annettu..." meaning "...the Minutes have been signed, tax withholding and social insurance payments have been made..."

"Ennakonpidätys toimitetaan mm. palkasta, palkkioista ja eläkkeestä"
