MAP, or any of the binder words Explanation: MAP stands for various medical terms, the Finns easily use terms like this in an "finlandised" form... but it could be a binder too... But, the sentence is "Mappi on nousut tasolle" so expect this is noussut, ie risen, so Mappi has risen to the level of, in which case binder or file does not really cover this. Need more context. |

binder Explanation: folder, binder, loose-leaf binder -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 47 mins (2011-11-11 15:37:10 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Not that it makes much sense in that sentence... -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 50 mins (2011-11-11 15:39:44 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Maybe jargon or an acronym? As usual, even the smallest bit of context would be helpful. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 11 hrs (2011-11-12 02:45:10 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- In the acronym category my bet is "mean arterial pressure" or MAP. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mean_arterial_pressure -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 11 hrs (2011-11-12 02:45:46 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Seems like it would have to be a pressure or count of something.
