English translation:maturity test/ see explanation
Explanation:
The kypsyysnäyte is a test you take on the basis of your Master´s degree thesis. It usually would be one question, to be answered in essay form, on the content of the Master´s thesis. You can translate it to "maturity test", or leave it as "the kypsyysnäyte test" with an explanation that it derives from the thesis.

neutral  Timo Lehtilä: It is actually the test that you have done your thesis yourself. Its name should actually be sth. like 'non-cheating test'. It is used on all levels of education where thesis or some other kind of final work is demanded.

-> Agree on the non-cheating part. Even more context to convey outside of a translation (my comment on a previous question). I was only aware of the Master´s level, but now I´ve learnt that it also applies elsewhere.

Maturity test

Explanation:
I had to give a kypsyysnäyte/take a maturity test after submitting my BACHELOR'S thesis, so the test can't strictly be only for Master's level graduates. Of course, my subject wasn't one of the social sciences (the subjects you list); it was English. Might be different from faculty to faculty, but I doubt it. Hope this helps!
