Flemish term or phrase: justitieassistent
"... boodschappen naar verschillende actoren (justitieassistenten, justitiabelen, opdrachtgevers, ...) via verschillende kanalen ..."

The context is a Belgian text.

Does anyone have any suggestions re. how to best translate 'justitieassistent'? In French it's simply 'Assistant de justice', but what about in English?

Alvast bedankt!

disagree  Katia Brys: In UK-context is de judicial assistant een administratief medewerker. In Vlaamse context doet de justitieassistent veeleer begeleidingstaken. Probation assistant lijkt me inhoudelijk een juistere vertaling.
