Flemish term or phrase: ik was echt op (in context)
Text is about relatives of coma patients and the various phases they go through. Second paragraph is a transcription of what someone said during the interviews. Just wondering if this means "I was really done in" i.e. exhausted, as per van Dale. Feels more like "I was really at the end of my tether" ("Which is probably why I got so wound up").

Which is probably why I got so wound up
->no, she says 'probably also because I got so angry'

so what she's saying, is that she feels completely drained, has no energy left

she feels drained, both by what was said about her and her daughter and by getting worked up and angry about it

I was obviously trying to twist the meaning of this phrase to fit into my incorrect interpretation of the last sentence! Thanks for putting me straight on that one.
