dit is een mogelijkheid. Is wel een Engels woord, maar wordt heel vaak gebruikt. Voor puristen zou je het als "aanvraag" kunnen vertalen ;-)

wordt ook soms \"navraag\" en in een andere context \"polling\" genoemd, maar ik denk dat je met \"query\" de beste optie kiest.

De Engelse term 'query' kende ik ook als vertaling voor 'interrogation'. Uiteindelijk heb ik ook die term gebruikt (hij staat zelfs in Van Dale). Bedankt allemaal!

neutral  Jan Willem van Dormolen (X): 'query' in het Nederlands wordt gebruikt waar ook het Engels 'query' gebruikt, met name ook Microsoft en OOo. Ik kan me vergissen, maar 'interrogation' lijkt me wat anders. Overigens is m.i. de correcte vertaling van 'query' 'zoekopdracht'.

  -> context is hier idd niet duidelijk, dus niet echt zeker, maar "interrogation" wordt door MS wel vertaald als "query" en "polling", vandaar mijn voorstel
