La détention de parts ou actions d’OPCVM (parts de Fonds Commun de Placement (FCP), d’actions de Société
d’Investissement à Capital Variable (SICAV), ou tout autre véhicule similaire dans le monde (mutual funds aux Etats-Unis, Unit Trusts ou OEIC (Open-End Investment Companies) au Royaume Uni, FIAMM en Espagne…) investis en titres du marché monétaire, confère à son titulaire la propriété d’une portion d’un portefeuille de valeurs mobilières, soit des parts pour un FCP ou des actions pour une SICAV. L’investisseur procédant ainsi à l’acquisition de parts ou actions d’OPCVM s’en remet ainsi à la qualité de la gestion financière réalisée dans le portefeuille du FCP ou de la
SICAV par la société de gestion de portefeuille dans le cadre de la politique d’investissement spécifiquement définie pour chaque OPCVM.
