Het gaat hier om de optiemogelijkheid voor het Franse regime van de zogenaamde "groupe fiscal" (NL: fiscale eenheid); als een vennootschap hiervoor kiest, wordt zij de enige belastingplichtige voor de over de resultaten van de gehele groep verschuldigde winstbelasting (impôt sur les bénéfices). Dit is geregeld in artikel 223 A van de Code Général des Impôts (C.G.I.).
Ik zou daarom zeker toe voegen dat hier gaat om een optie voor het Franse regime van de fiscale eenheid, anders is het verband niet duidelijk.
