warning lights and indicators Explanation: I've not come across these specific terms in this context, but I would guess that they are differentiating between the two basic types of 'voyant' or 'temoin' — i.e. the 'service' ones that are simply there to tell you something is working (e.g. main beam indicator) and the 'contrôle' ones that come on to warn you something has gone wrong (e.g. low oil pressure) |
