Science - Biology (-tech,-chem,micro-) / LAL endotoxin test
French term or phrase: gamme
I am translating an article on rapid microbiology methods and would very grateful for feedback on the following which relates to the LAL endotoxin test.

Ce qu’il faut savoir, c’est qu’il existe à l’heure actuelle un système de cartouches precalibrées,
faisant appel à des gammes archivées, ne necessitant pas de réaliser de gammes d’etalonnage et pouvant fournir un résultat en moins de 15 minutes.

I have done some research and think it must relate to the Charles River cartridge and have translated it as:

It should be known that there is currently in existence a system of precalibrated cartridges, containing an archived range of samples, which do not require a calibration curve to be produced and which can provide a result in less than 15 minutes.

I am not entirely sure about my translation of the phrases incorporating ‘gamme’ (des gammes archivées, gammes d’etalonnage) and would welcome any feedback.

thanks
Sue

many thanks for this, I had located the Charles River advert but not the technical details. I used 'standard curve' in my translation.

Notes to answerer
Asker: Dear Alison, many thanks for answering. I think it must refer to the range of concentrations used to produce a standard curve. I used standard curve in my translation as it turns out that this is specified in the datasheet.
