I think I should translate this as "uniform across the plate", but I'm not sure whether that makes sense in the context of "étapes de pipetages". I'd be grateful for confirmation or an alternative suggestion from people with experience of lab work.

I did work in a lab for 10 years. I think this refers to procedures like an ELISA where multiple well plates are used and equal amounts of reagent have to be pipetted into each well. So uniform refers to volume rather than contact.
