4 +3 | volume and sculpture: display |

Accrochage is hanging. http://dictionary.reverso.net/french-definition/monstration http://dictionary.reverso.net/french-english/accrochage -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 22 mins (2021-04-15 16:18:16 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Are you sure it's one subject and not two? The capital M for Monstration seems odd. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 52 mins (2021-04-15 16:48:12 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- No, volume is not the same as area, it's a term commonly used in three-dimensional art, as in "this sculpture has a strong sense of volume". I think you'll find "accrochage" specifically refers to hanging from a wall or ceiling using hooks, so hanging would be better than mounting. Since most sculptures are displayed rather than hung like paintings, I think this is two subjects - it just makes more sense to me. I may be wrong, but I'd say Volume and sculpture Display and hanging |
