French term or phrase: Didyme
Hello everyone,

I have not been able to find any information or translations of this term. It comes from a scientific report from the Academy of Sciences in Paris, France which was written in 1908. It is in reference to an element or compound with which I am not familiar.

I have separated the word in the text using **.

Here is the context:

If anyone has any information about this word, and if possible a translation into English, I would be very grateful for your help.

Thanks in advance,
Laura Hastings-Brownstein
