Taken from a doc regarding regulation of the digital economy. It crops up in a heading and then a little further on. Any ideas for a snappy translation?

agree  Elizabeth Slaney: Yes, I think "network externalities" covers the whole heading as it already implies the "effects" or "conséquences"

Explanation:
I saw this in a paper on the subject, although they used mostly "network externatilities," this term (netw benef) was referred to as a translation to the French ext de reseau. So, an additional option for you to have at hand.
