Après s’être connecté directement à XXXX, le voyageur saisit les caractéristiques de sa mission via un écran d’aiguillage. En fonction du paramétrage choisi par le client (voyage simple ou complexe), le voyageur est automatiquement dirigé vers le mode le plus approprié.

The text describes a software programme for making business travel reservations. I gather that aiguillage is a technical term meaning shifting/switching/shunting... Presumably, depending on the information the person enters they are directed to the appropriate page to make their reservation but I can't seem to find the right translation - perhaps it would be better to just paraphrase. Anyway, any suggestions would be gratefully received.
