French term or phrase: Alternate acronym for \"Data Privacy Officer\" (DPO)...
Hi all. I'm faced with a quandary. I'm translating a an Information Systems Security Policy which includes a list of definitions and acronyms. In the list of acronyms, I have the following :

- DPD : Délégué à la Protection des Données.

Which I of course translated as :

- DPO : Data Protection Officer. (A very common and widely-used acronym in English since the GDPR. I could not conceive of translating it any other way)

However a couple of lines farther down, I run into this :

- DPO : Data Privacy Officer (already in English in the French text).

So, now I'm faced with two terms using the same acronym... and frankly I cannot come up with a palatable alternative for either one.
"DPO 1" and "DPO 2" ? Yuck…
The only idea I have come up with so far would be to leave DPD as DPD and do something like :

DPD: Data Protection Officer [Délégué à la Protection des Données], but DPO is so common in English that it goes against my grain and also, once again... Yuck!

Any suggestions at all would be GREATLY appreciated.

Alternate acronym for \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\"Data Privacy Officer\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\" (DPO)...
RSSI (in French)

Explanation:
Could it be possible they are referring to a CISO (RSSI in French), so actually two people/positions and are simply not aware of the correct acronym?

Notes to answerer
Asker: Hi Marie, Thanks for your suggestion. Unfortunately it can't be what you proposed because "RSSI" (Responsable Sécurité des Systèmes d’Information) is also in the list of acronyms. I have translate "RSSI" as "ISSM" (Information Systems Security Manager)
