acceptance testing Explanation: As you could have found from a term search, 'recette' is often 'acceptance testing / procedure' in many technical fields. As for 'chantier', I think it is largely redundant — or at least untranslatable! As I see it (and in the absence of greater context, it really simply means 'the work involved in carrying out acceptance testing' — which is pretty neatly summed up by that little word 'testing'. Note 'chantier' can have other meanings beside the classic 'building site', and it is used a lot in IT contexts — though nary a shovel or heap of sand in sight! -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 10 jours (2017-06-27 23:54:50 GMT) Post-grading -------------------------------------------------- 'acceptance testing process / procedure' might work — but sadly, this wooly term 'chantier' is used in such a huge variety of ways, there is really no way to find a 'one-size-fits-all' solution unless you have a great deal more context to work with. You may find, for example, that there is a 'chantier' for rollling out some new software — in that instance, you might find 'deployment project' could work, for example. |
