In this sort of context, a 'coupe' is a cross-sectional view — sometimes even a cutaway, but not here, I would imagine.

In construction contracting, a great deal of emphasis is placed on co-ordination between the different trades and work packages — obviously the plasterer can't start work until the bricklayer has built the walls to be plastered!
Naturally, there is a need for 'temporal' co-ordination'; and on a more detailed physical level, also 'spatial co-ordination' — it's no good having beautfiully-drawn plans for the layout of the water piping if they conflict with the layout for, say, the electrical wiring....
