depends, maybe Explanation: on what materials we are talking about, but it COULD be "finish coatings". The appropriate translation of "revêtement" is likely to depend on what the underlying materials are: walls can be painted, papered, tiled, steel clad, etc.; timber window frames can be painted or varnished; etc. etc. Other options (instead of "coatings") might be "treatment", "wall coverings", "floor coverings", "surfacing", etc. However, given that "materiaux prevus etre mis en place" whiffs of translation from English (materials foreseen to be installed), I wonder if one might not "invert" the word order here and get "surface finishings". |
