Priced Bill of Quantities / Tender design Explanation: The Priced Bill of Quantities is a BOQ with prices. A BOQ is a list of works to be carried out, giving the quantities involved, usually room by room (in the case of construction) - hence "quantitatif" for the numbers of doorsets, square metres of tiles, metres of cable, etc., and "estimatif" for the above multipled by a unit price to give the total for each item. APD = Avant-Projet Détaillé. This comes after the APS - Avant-Projet Sommaire, or preliminary design, and is that submitted to bidders (tenderers) for them to determine their prices. |
