French term or phrase: PMUP
Hi all -

I am translating a lengthy report from statutory auditors in Paris.

There is an appendix which covers the evaluation of hard assets, namely in the form of merchandise and their amortization over time.

I cannot find this abbreviation, PMUP, which, BTW might possibly be an English acronym for all I know.

Here is the context:

Thanks for any help offered!

agree  Wolf Draeger: Or "weighted average cost per unit".

agree  Steve Robbie: Agree with "weighted average cost per unit". "Weighed average cost" / "Coût moyen ponderé" is the term used in EU-IFRS (Reg. EU 1126/2008)

Reference: Coût unitaire moyen pondéré

Reference information:

-> Thanks—but it's an inventory costing method, so "cost" it should be in EN // Cool beans :-)
