champagne finish or style / (applied) string rim

Explanation:
CHAMPAGNE - Also called an applied ring, applied band, applied ring mouth, banded collar, cognac finish, ring-neck cider finish, string rim, laid-on ring, laid-on band, hock wine finish, flattened string rim, flat ring, and likely other names. Click http://anthro.utah.edu/_images/imac-s/472-bottlesneck.jpg to see the illustration (#18) in the IMACS table.

The champagne finish is distinguished by being (or appearing to be) a flat band of glass wrapped around the outside circumference of the upper neck just below the top rim (lip) surface about 1/8" to 1/4".
http://www.sha.org/bottle/finishstyles2.htm#Champagne

"The 'finish' is the top section of the bottle attached to the neck from which the bottle contents are
obtained and to which a closure is applied to secure the bottle's contents from spoilage or spilling. The
upper part of the finish to which a cap would seal itself is the 'sealing surface'. The diameter of the aperture
opening is the 'bore'. Sometimes a ring of glass is placed around the neck at the base of the finish in order
to secure the closure,...
