French term or phrase: visite du rectum
This is an isolated sentence spoken by the Wiremouth character, known as Jean-Claude in the French version, who lisps when he speaks because of his brace.

I imagine this is probably a play on words of some sort but I'm not sure exactly what. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Explanation:
I think, again, you have to leave it.

Homosexuals - or whatever the current PC term is! - stereotypically lisp, so you have to render that, but I don't think rectum is unintentional, there is probably some humorous (or other form of) intent.

Plus, it works in English too, see this definition:

4. The principal of certain schools, colleges, and universities.

(I don't think I have to state the link between rectum and homosexuals...!)

visite du recteur??

Explanation:
As they're in school, maybe it's a play on words. The "recteur" is going to visit the school and Jean-Claude has misheard.

I think "recteur" is Chancellor...

agree  Richard Benham: There is no chancellor in a school, but it is probably "recteur" anyway.

agree  Alain Pommet: Seems likely - 'recteur de l'académie de XXX' bit hard to translate 'chief inspector of schools'?/ Just come across the word doing something else 'director of education'
