HRiley tells us that Blinky, thus Shadow, is the red one, so it all fits.

shadok OR ghost

Explanation:
I'm a bit confused by your question because Pacman and the Shadoks are two separate things.

In Pacman, the "enemy" characters that zoom round the maze trying to kill Pacman are called the ghosts. FYI, their "official" names are Inky, Blinky, Pinky and Clyde. (Blinky is the red one)

The Shadoks are something completely different - French comic strip/cartoon characters created by Jacques Rouxel. They can be summed up as strange "philosophical birds", and their sayings are often still quoted by french people today. One gem is: "En essayant continuellement on finit par réussir. Donc: plus ça rate, plus on a des chances que ça marche" (If you keep trying you'll eventually succeed. So, the more you fail, the better your chances are of succeeding)

A google search for "les shadoks" brings up lots of hits, including : http://perso.numericable.fr/~gabuzo38/shad_persons.html and http://www.e-atlantide.com/thematiques/shadok/

I'm not sure what the Shadoks would be doing inside a Pacman game.
