Golfe du Lion s.l. Explanation: I think that it may be the Spanish designation for "sociedad limitada." When I googled your term, most of the hits came up in Spanish. This made me remember that SL is a company designation in Spanish, which led me to google "Golfo de leon SL," which provided a number of hits and links to business registers. Does this work with your context? -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 15 mins (2017-07-28 17:34:59 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- @Asker Fair enough. It's a pure coincidence that there is a Spanish company of the same name. I thought maybe they were involved in conducting the study, since a lot of the hits had to do with works contracts. I couldn't find anything geology-related whatsoever. Good luck! |

Golfe du Lion s.l. Explanation: with "s.l." then being "south litoral", or the south coast of France. It sort of makes sense, but I'm not at all sure. |
