Also,"dégager", which in this context should be a form of "to generate", "earn", or here, "obtain"; since the nature of the "ad hoc" isn't known, whether it is an increase or a separate slush fund. donor funding Explanation: I would look at rewording the sentence slightly; my understanding is that the training of national staff depends on obtaining additional funding (ad hoc) over and above what donors have already committed to. I would also look at a different translation for "mission", but not sure what it is referring to exactly here (group of people, or a particular project/initiative?). Example sentence(s):
