@Wolf D -- yes, I agree with you. This entry comes under the heading "Languages" in his resume. Ironically, I'm translating the entire thing into English, but we will leave that aside for now, shall we? :-) I believe, after reading all the suggestions, that the time spent is (or should be) the focus of that entry -- ie his English was good enough that he spent 10 months in a presumbly all-English speaking Cancer Center in the USA... It's not clear from the rest of the resume if the 10 months was an assignment, or by choice, or if he was selected for it, etc...

If the purpose of the phrase is to emphasize the physician's fluency in EN, is it not then more important to highlight the time he spent at the Cancer Centre, rather than how/why he got there; so just sidestep the mobilité issue altogether? Perhaps leave that part to the interview; it might not be essential to his CV.

This is assuming BD is right and mobilité refers to relocation or posting.

A friendly note, for future posts... Most thread titles wind up in the Kudoz glossary, so it's better if just the problem term is posted – for instance, "mobilité" or "au sein de" (each question separately). ;-)
