Bus/Financial - Human Resources / Reward and recognition?
French term or phrase: activité incentive
"Votre demande ne ressemble pas à toutes les autres? Vous avez besoin de transferts en autocars, d'un séminaire résidentiel avec une soirée de Gala dans un lieu prestigieux, et pour finir d'une journée d'étude qui se termine par une ***activité incentive***...? Nous répondons à vos besoins en élaborant un devis sur mesure qui prendra compte de tous les paramètres."

For the moment I've come up with "reward and recognition activity", but I'm sure there's a better term out there.

Something like the winning teams get on the BBC programme "The Apprentice"?

reward / prize (activity)
Explanation:
If the activity is a reward or prize (i.e. the winning team get to go to a spa), then I would simply put prize or reward (without necessarily adding 'activity').

agree  Alison MacG: I think this might be my choice - used in the world of corporate events and "incentif" seems to be a borrowed word in French. Example: http://www.helloscotland.com/whats-new/LatestNews/New-Foodie...

(an evening's) relaxation

Explanation:
We don't know what (if anything) they have in mind, but it's obviously some kind of leisure activity that contrasts with their hard work during the day.

neutral  B D Finch: It could be rock climbing, white-water rafting or an assault course.//Well, perhaps not an assault course, but still probably an "activity".

-> After 'une journée d'etude'? Possible, but unlikely. It's just so they have something pleasant to look forward to after all their hard work - that's the 'íncentive'.

As I noted to Phil, it could be rock climbing, white-water rafting or an assault course. Alternatively, it could be something that puts what they have learned into practice in a way that is fun and competitive.
