Bus/Financial - Human Resources / Salary Statement
French term or phrase: Dat. Anc.
At the top of this pay statement are columns stating:

COMPTE INDIVIDUEL 2012 ***
TOTAUX PAR TRJMESTRE/AN
ENTRE LE : [Date]
PARTI LE :
NE LE: [Date]
DAT. ANC.: [another Date in 2008]
MARIÉ(E)
HOMME
PERSONNES A CHARGE Conj. Enf. Autres
VALIDES 1 2 0
HANDICAPEES 0 0 0

I assume that DAT. refers to the date, but I can't see what the ANC bit refers to. The date is in 2008, could it be the date of beginning employment? It is obviously an abbreviated word, but beyond that I have no idea.

Date d'ancienneté
Explanation:
i.e. how long the person has been an employee

can be translated in English as "seniority".
So as you say it is from the beginning of employment.

P.S. You say "another date in 2008" but I can't see where the first reference to 2008 is. Presumably not for the date of birth!

For compactness you could always abbreviate 'Seniority'.

Asker: I thought it could be that, but is there not an official, more compact, term for this in English

agree  mchd: "date d'ancienneté" : pas d'autre terme officiel et la date en 2008 doit correspondre à la date "ENTRE LE".
