French term or phrase: Comité arrière
From the description of an in-house staff training programme for a retailer. It's basically about employees who are not directly involved in selling spending time in the retailer's outlets so that they understand more about the customer-facing part of the business.

Some employees are selected to take part following this Comité arrière, which I imagine to be either a review meeting with their manager or perhaps some management meeting where managers are asked to put forward names from their teams. But which? Or something different?

In context:

La « Retail Experience » est initiée par le manager et son Responsable RH, lorsque la période d’essai d’un collaborateur est confirmée ou qu’une immersion a été inscrite dans son PID suite à un ****Comité arrière.****

Backroom committee

Explanation:
Just to incorporate the "back" part of it and since it refers to retail, I thought of arrière-boutique, the back room of a store, where stock is kept and things are organized. (And in the old days, the owner could keep an eye on the staff as well as the customers.) So it gives this ideas of observing the operations from behind the scenes. Not much confidence, obviously.
