Bus/Financial - Human Resources / Payslip Item
French term or phrase: S.I.
This term appears in a rather complex itemised payslip as follows:

heures complémentaires 100% SI and later..

heures complémentaires 125% SI

No special problem with heures complémentaires, but what could SI mean here? I have looked at the glossary and as the employee concerned is a laboratory technician, wondered if it could possibly be hours worked in intensive care, though his agreement is for "laboratoires d'analyse extra-hospitaliers", so that would seem unlikely. The term is as above, without full stops. Could it even be an abbreviation?

The number of hours amounts to 18.5 and 3.5 respectively. The first over a two week period and the second within a period covering five weeks. Don't know if this helps or not.

Because it was an hourly rate based on this, I went for 'basic salary' in the end as it seemed to make more sense.
