management of allowances and severance pay Explanation: In French the same word 'indemnités' is used for both additional payments - allowances, bonuses etc - that are paid in addition to the salaries - and for what is usually called 'severance pay' when an employee leaves employment. Of course it is also used when English uses 'compensation'. As 'indemnités' has such a broad meaning in French I think you need to specify both types of payment here. |
