English translation:review meeting
Explanation:
Pointage, strictly speakig, means aiming or scoring.
It's a word widely used in French for a "stock taking" meeting, which I would describe as a review.

Asker: Review by itself is not specific enough for my purposes. Scoping review would have been bang on.

loss adjusters' final/closing meeting

Explanation:

This is when (insurers' and insured's) adjusters meet to agree about the cost of the loss to the insurers by looking at each of its parts and comparing their respective assessments. Pointer literally means "to tick" here : the adjusters go through the list and tick/check/mark each part after they have reached an agreement about its cost.

"Le pointage - clôture : lorsque l'état préparatoire du réglement est établi, une réunion entre votre expert et l'expert désigné par votre compagnie est organisée afin d'arrêter les montants de façon contradictoire et amiable."

"Une réunion de clôture est organisée avec vous, l'expert d'assurance et l'inspecteur de compagnie d'assurance pour permettre d'obtenir l'accord définitif sur l'indemnisation."

Thanks for the additional info.

If they actually mean "ticking boxes" (pointage) to identify the different parts of the damage and define the nature of the damage/loss, as opposed to its "cost/valuation" (chiffrage), which appears to be the next step according to the additional info, this might be a meeting between the insured's adjuster (Public Adjuster) and the insurers' adjuster in order to agree over the "scope of loss". If that's the case, I would suggest "(Adjusters') Scope of Loss Meeting".

"I will analyze your policy and the provisions of the policy to address the full scope of your loss. I will communicate with your Insurance Company and supply them with a complete damage model of your loss. I will meet with their Adjuster so as to agree on the scope of loss and negotiate a full and fair and timely settlement."

" the adjuster must, on the first visit, establish with the insured the exact scope of loss. This means that the adjuster and the insured (or PA) must walk through the insured’s house or business and agree to exactly what was damaged and destroyed as a result of the peril insured against."

"The insurer may not exclude the public adjuster from its in-person meetings with the insured. The insurer shall meet or communicate with the public adjuster in an effort to reach agreement as to the scope of the covered loss under the insurance policy. The public adjuster shall meet or communicate with the insurer in an effort to reach agreement as to the scope of the covered loss under the insurance policy."

I've just gone over what I wrote yesterday and the end of the first paragraph should read: "the adjusters go through the list and tick/check/mark each part before they reach an agreement about its cost"

Err... no: my initial comment was right - "after they have reached an agreement about its (=the part) cost". Oh dear...
