The sentence is "Le type de combinaison de réducteurs a un impact significatif et différent sur les modifications des composantes du risque."

I can't understand why "différent" is not "diffère" (unless of course there is a typing mistake).

Any ideas on how to translate it ?

neutral  Valentin Alupoaie: I'm guessing the text preiously mentions an impact on sth else.As for "significantly different impact", this would be a major syntactic change (subordination instead of coordination) with great emphasis on different. I don't think it's a hendiadys.
