A l'issue de ce test, l'activation du Suivi sur une autre campagne nécessitera la souscription d'un abonnement.

To me, both abonnement and souscription seem to be the same!

does souscription stand for the payment of subscription fee or some such thing?

Notes to answerer
Asker: So it is nominalisation of souscrire? Hence I can translate as "require the taking out of a subscription" or "require taking out a subscription"?

Asker: The entire document is in third person and impersonal and hence I have to stick to "require the taking out of a subscription" Thanks to all of you for the help.
